Buildroot is a build system.

Command	Comments
<package>-cleandir	Remove the build folder of the package
<package>-reconfigure	Reconfigure and rebuild the package; useful after having change the configuration
<package>-rebuild	Rebuild the package

By default, Buildroot compiles every library as shared. That is why the compilation of some projects failed at the link edition step because static symbols are stripped out of shared libraries.
