Where to get a ARM toolchain?

You can find here more or less recent toolchains.

Download the .tar.bz2 file.

Uncompress it:

# tar -xvjf arm-2009q3-67-arm-none-linux-gnueabi-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.bz2

Create a file named: /home/$USER/.cross_compile that contains:

export ARCH=arm
export CROSS_COMPILE=/home/georges/tools/toolchain/arm-2009q3/bin/arm-none-linux-gnueabi

Each time, you need to build a software with this toolchain, you just have to source it.
